Hypnotherapy:   What is it and how can it help you make positive changes in your life?

Hypnotherapy is an incredibly, powerful tool to assist individuals in changing behaviors and habits. 

  • Have you ever wondered why when you have the determination, willpower, commitment, reason and logic to make a change in your life  but something seems to still be blocking you?

As humans we use approximately 5% of our brain, our conscious brain, which is where reason, logic and willpower reside.  And perhaps you may wonder what the other 95% of our brain is doing?  The subconscious mind controls our instincts, habits, imagination, emotions, physiology and our healing abilities.  When there is a conflict between the desires of the conscious mind and the desires of the subconscious mind is when we experience frustration and conflicts in behavior and habits.  Because the subconscious mind is more powerful than the conscious mind you will find that it will always win.   

Some interesting statistics in a study done by Alfred Barrios PhD on the effectiveness of therapies reports the following results:

Psychoanalysis:  35% recovery after 600 session

Behavior Therapy:  72% recovery after 22 sessions

Hypnotherapy:  93% recovery after 6 sessions.
